Factual or not, it is irrelevant to the point of being tolerant, which it wasn’t.



As for religious people being the most cruel, I think that is mostly wishful thinking. There are lots of cruel people in the world and history, and to even pretend to know the religious views of all or most of them to support that claim requires a large amount of arrogance and blindness. It’s a claim that can’t be proven, so just cut to the chase and admit your bigotry toward religious people.
