Her generalization isn’t wrong though. When Hamas enjoys a majority support by polling data, when they are expected to win an election if it were held today (by polling data) and when 75% supported their terrorist attack on Oct 7th, they demonstrate clearly that the majority of civilians support Hamas.

We are just learning that this support isn’t limited to feelings, but includes acts as we not know civilians will do work, like keep hostages, for Hamas. Therefore, they aren’t innocent. And although it is a generalization, it isn’t wrong. The Palestinians themselves make it true.
