I would believe you hate genocide if you didn’t play defense for Hamas, who openly and honestly stated their genocidal intentions. You play defense for them and want “context” when you don’t need it and you should just condemn them. Because you can’t do that, then I don’t believe you hate genocide. The only reason I can see why you would side against those who are actually threatened with genocide is because you hate Jews more. It’s very simple.
