I’m going to illustrate your logic in a different way:

A square of yesterday is the same as a triangle today because they both have pointy parts. And that triangle is essentially taking up the same cause as the hexagon because three and six are basically the same number if you divide one by two and pretend it’s other half doesn’t exist.
