I’m not exactly sure which “independent” sources you are referring to. As a comparison, it took the Israeli government weeks to properly count the number of victims from Oct 7, and they realized their initial estimates were over by 200 or so. But if it took them, a functional government by any reasonable metric, to properly count a single day of killing, weeks, what makes you believe that the Hamas health ministry is accurate with same day results?

Seems kind of foolish to me to put so much credibility in those numbers. You know they will never go back and verify.
