It doesn’t matter the perspective because we have objective standards for terrorism. And Israel’s actions don’t meet the standard. “Killing civilians” is misleading. Israel is not targeting civilians, but they do die as part of collateral damage. That is what happens in urban war. That distinction is important because it is the difference between terrorism and collateral damage. It’s similar to the difference between manslaughter (an accidental killing) and murder (intentional murder). These are treated very differently in the court of law because there are other factors to consider besides the result and perspective of one side. We can have an objective truth. And that truth is: Israel is not committing terrorism, genocide, or the like, they are conducting a legal retaliatory war.
