So a large majority in the north had churches preaching slavery, but a huge majority of individuals saw the light, but the pastors didn’t, and they rebelled against the church to abolish slavery?

Yeah that’s not historically accurate. But I’m not going to convince you of that. Slavery existed, the southern democrats inherited its institution. Those southern democrats wanted to keep everything the same and used whatever they could to justify slavery even if it meant twisting their religion. Northern Christian’s, including churches and clergy created the abolitionist movement based on a better understanding of biblical teachings. And people like you refuse to accept that, just like slave owners refused to accept that they were wrong.

We don’t need to keep arguing.
